The Sacrament of Marriage
Couples are most welcome to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage in our Parish Church. Because of church and state statutory requirements, six month's notice is required for a wedding. It is a policy of the Archdiocese that all couples attend a Marriage Preparation Course conducted by Centacare or Life and Human Relations Inc.
If there is no priest from the parish available, then people outside the Parish who wish to marry in the Kedron Church will need to organise their own celebrant, who will attend to the papers, the preparation for marriage and the actual celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage.
