Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration

Our Kedron Parish has joined six other parishes on Brisbane’s Northside to offer Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day, thus enabling people on the northside to participate in this age-old spiritual practice.  Each parish is taking responsibility for one day a week.

At Little Flower Church, we offer Adoration from after the Thursday 8.00am Mass through till the start of the Friday 8.00am Mass.

For safety and security, particularly during the night hours, we always roster two people per hour.  In addition to these rostered volunteers, anyone is welcome to come any time during the 24 hours to spend time in prayer.  After sunset, please enter via the side door on the Padua College side of the church.  If it is locked for security, just press the door bell and a volunteer will let you in.

This opportunity for Adoration is one way we can be a praying community in the midst of society.  In these times of uncertainty, when our days are filled with activity, we need more than ever to find that quiet place within us where God is always present and waiting for us.  Jesus is always inviting us and waiting for our acceptance and willingness to be in His presence.

If you would like to register as a volunteer for the roster or to find out more, please contact the Parish Office. We will then connect you with Ross  Musumeci who is our Little Flower Church Roster Co-ordinator. He will be your first contact person once you are on the roster.
